Link building strategy

Choose the page and topic before the link.

Before searching for a publisher, open the page you want to support. Decide who needs it and what article would give them a reason to visit.

Discuss your publishing plan

Write a publishing plan you can carry out and review

Start with a page and audience

Choose a complete page and identify who needs it. Write a question that comes before the visit and an article angle for a suitable publisher. This page explains a planning framework; it does not produce an automated strategy or guaranteed link list.

Review where competitors appear, then inspect each opportunity. A site may suit a competitor’s different product or a market you do not target. Record why you accept or reject the opportunity.

Turn the idea into work

For each opportunity, record publisher, topic, destination, format, price, and writing responsibility. Check internal links so visitors can find prices, product details, or the next step after arriving.

Separate publication from work that must come first: preparing a guide, verifying specifications, or fixing an inquiry form. If those are incomplete, finishing them may be the first use of the budget.

Set conditions for expanding

Begin with orders you can brief and review. Record team time, cost, correction reasons, and the visits or engagement you can measure. Do not copy another campaign’s order count as a target.

Before the next group, decide what the review changes: publisher, angle, destination, or budget. The budget guide explains costs; campaign measurement covers what you can observe.

Questions to help you decide

Does every page need a backlink?

Start with your goals and complete priority pages. There is no reason to assume equal spending across every URL.

Should I copy all competitor publishers?

Use them for discovery, then assess relevance, readership, and terms yourself. A competitor’s link does not prove the placement fits your business.

Choose the priority pages

Start with a complete page and an outcome you can measure: a service inquiry, product browsing, or a guide visit. Fix gaps in the content and experience before spending on publication.

Review where competitors appear

Note the sites and topics you find. Ask whether their readers fit your business and what you could add. Treat the list as opportunities to inspect, then choose each publisher on its own merits.

03 / LINKAZA

Pick the topic that comes before the visit

A product category may need an article comparing options or explaining what to look for. A detailed guide may fit an article that raises a question the guide can answer further.

Make the next step easy on your site

Check that visitors can reach the information they need from the linked page: prices, service details, or examples. Repair broken links and dead ends before the placement goes live.

Set the budget and review point

Record the publisher, topic, and full cost for each possible order. Begin with work you can brief and check, then review visits, engagement, and costs before placing more orders.
